Problem of Powder

​​​​​​​Beyond design, we were involved from the early planning stages of the product, focusing on addressing key challenges inherent to powder formulations, such as dispersion and degradation. Through a series of in-house experiments, we analyzed powder behavior across different materials, drop conditions, and formulation characteristics, concentrating on identifying effective directions for fundamental problem-solving.

디자인뿐만 아니라 제품 기획 단계부터 참여하여, 파우더 제형의 주요 단점인 가루 날림과 변질 문제에 집중했다. 다양한 자체 실험을 통해 파우더 소재별 날림 정도, 낙하 조건, 제형의 특성을 분석하며, 근본적인 문제 해결 방향을 도출하는 데 주력했다.

Experiments for Design

Additional tests were conducted by producing a study mockup with a design structure that reflected the experimental and research results. By checking the residue caused by vibration after use and the amount and speed of powder extraction according to the cartridge structure, the problem could be solved in an optimal direction, and based on this, mass-produced products could be carried out.

실험 및 연구 결과가 반영된 설계 구조를 적용한 스터디 목업과 디자인 목업을 제작하여 추가 테스트를 진행했다. 사용 후 진동에 의한 잔여물, 카트리지 구조에 따른 파우더의 추출량과 속도 등을 체크하며 최적의 방향으로 문제를 해결할 수 있었고, 이를 토대로 디자인을 발전시켰다.
